Welcome back to the third edition of ‘Diary of The Kraft Korner’- this week we’ve been super busy! Lots of hand crafting has been happening in our household, with loads of new crocheted goods produced, and we ended the week with our first market of the year!

New items

This crocheted cardigan is our latest masterpiece, using brown and purple tones to make a beautiful flower illusion! Granny square bursts in purple and green offer a bright floral image, and it is complimented by the brown main body colour. Our granny cardigans are one size and can fit up to a size 18, so they’re perfect for all!

Markets

Our brown and purple granny cardigan made its debut entrance to our first market of the year on Friday 16th January, at our regular market in Droitwich! We have been attending this market since 2023 and you can see us there most Fridays from 8am until around 3pm. It was lovely to return back this week and see some regular traders and customers. Here are some pictures of our stall set up at previous markets!

We will be at Droitwich next on Friday 23rd January! Come and say hello if you’re local. We are also at the Midland Metropolitan Hospital this Thursday, 22nd January from 8-4pm, postcode B66 2QT.

Workshops at The Light Cinema Walsall

One of the missions I have within my Kraft Korner business is to build a crafting community and highlight the togetherness that crafting can bring. As part of this, I run craft sessions at The Light Cinema in Walsall every Wednesday evening, 6-9pm. It is £5 each to get involved, and anything you make you can take home with you. I usually have plenty of jewellery making available to do but you can also bring your own crafts along! It is such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and a nice way to break up the week and be social.
