This week my obsession has been handmade phone charms:

I made these three in particular at my craft session last Wednesday, and they reminded me how much I love making them! They’re the perfect non-jewellery accessory, and you can switch them out so you always have new styles going on. Some of the girls at these sessions make phone charms to gift their friends, proving that they make the best little presents to give to loved ones! I especially enjoyed making the daisy chain one, as it’s a design I love and reminds me of spring which is just around the corner!
My latest crochet project
My latest crochet project is an adult hexi cardigan, which will be the first time I have made a full adult wearable! I have made hundreds of squares for granny square cardigans, but it is always Niamh and Mum Kraft Korner that assemble them into a cardigan for me (as I am still fairly new to the crochet game!). This time, however, I want to make the hexi cardigan start to finish. I’ve chosen a soft variegated yarn in pale colours as shown below, and I hope it turns out as lovely as I envision it to!

The finished piece will, of course, be going on my clothes rail at markets ready to be purchased, but I will also upload it to the website for any online customers. I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
Parents craft morning
I’m super excited, because this week I am returning to host one of my favourite events: a parents coffee and craft morning! Once every now and again, I go to a school in Birmingham and set up a table with all sorts of crafts, so that parents of children at the school can come along, craft, chat and have some mindful time together! It’s always a fun time and it gives the parents chance to talk to each other about their shared experiences with their children, who all have special needs. It is a lovely community driven activity and I am so pleased to be returning! This event is a private event of sorts, specific to the school, however I am available to do events similar to this – simply get in touch with me on the socials above or email me at the.kraftcorner@yahoo.com to discuss details.
