Grasmere Garden Centre sale

On 31st January, we did a sale at Grasmere Garden centre in Brownhills. There were probably around 25 stalls, with vendors selling all sorts of goods, and the footfall was brilliant! It was, however, very cold as it was under a marquee outdoors – I should have known to wear more layers! Depsite that, it was lovely to trade in a new environment, and as it was a sale close to home we didn’t have to worry about the journey home taking forever! Overall it was a good day.

Baby items

One of our most popular items is our selection of baby clothes, and we put loads of our new baby cardigans/jumpers out on our stall on Saturday. These are the cutest garments ever and make a lovely gift for someone you know who is expecting! Some of the knitted garments are made by my Grandma, who helps us out at The Kraft Korner by making up the odd jumper every now and again, and others are made by mum Kraft Korner, Fiona! Here’s some of the cardigans available now on our website at  https://the-kraft-korner.sumupstore.com – check them out!

Lovely speckled aran yarn used for this children’s garment.
The softest, fluffiest chenille yarn ever for this crocheted baby cardigan!

1-1 craft sessions

Something I began last year as part of the Kraft Korner is a service where I do 1-1 sessions crafting with individuals that either want a private craft session, or need extra support. One of the sessions I do on a weekly basis includes making jewellery with an individual in assisted living accommodation, and I thoroughly enjoy our 2 hours working together. Here’s some jewellery we made this week!

We’ve been focusing recently on building up collections of jewellery that we can potentially sell at a craft sale in the future. But, more than anything, the session is about having some crafting fun! I can do these sessions wherever you like, whether that be within your home or in a public setting, and I charge £25 an hour. I am fully DBS checked and have worked with individuals with a range of additional support needs, so everyone and anyone is welcome to a crafting session with yours truly! If you’re interested in this service, message me on social media (links above) or get in touch via email at the.kraftcorner@yahoo.com. I’d love to hear from you!
